Crescent Island
There is just one “Crescent Island Game Sanctuary”. Located on Lake Naivasha, in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. It is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya and is Naivasha’s best-kept secret. Surrounded by water, It is actually a peninsula and is accessible by boat as well as by road.
Kigio Conservancy
It is a noteworthy 3,500-acre protected Conservancy near Gilgil, between Nakuru and Naivasha in Kenya, about 2 hours drive from Nairobi. Originally a cattle ranch owned by a colonial settler family, it was sold to the local community that decided to forego cattle ranching for Wildlife conservation
Lewa Conservancy
Once a cattle ranch founded by the Craig family in the 1920s through a colonial settlement program, a part of it was converted into a sanctuary in the 1980s for black rhinos whose numbers had reduced due to poaching. It was recently crowned UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Namunyak Conservancy
Its comprised of six Samburu group ranches that joined hands to better manage land and offer a safe range for wildlife. Namanyuk, meaning ‘blessed’ in Samburu, is notable as the first community conservancy established in Northern Kenya. A treasure trove for safari enthusiasts.
